How Oh my EOB! handles your information

Oh my EOB! is an informational tool from Promptara Lab. It is designed to explain medical bills, EOBs, and denial letters in plain English, while collecting only what is needed for each feature.

Document Analysis

Files and pasted text are used for the current explanation request and are not persisted by default. Analytics for document analysis use privacy-preserving fields such as status, document type, and size buckets, not raw document text, file names, email addresses, IP addresses, or user questions.

Forms

Contact form messages are stored so we can respond. Homepage follow forms store your email and the consent text shown at submission.

Free guide signup forms store your normalized email address, guide slug, source page, timestamp, consent version, whether you opted into product updates, and the consent text shown at submission. The guide is not sent by email in the current V1 flow.

Spam Protection

Guide signup forms use a hidden honeypot field, a minimum completion time, and temporary in-memory rate limits. Rate limit keys are hashed and raw IP addresses are not stored in the subscriber table.

Analytics

Guide funnel analytics use safe event properties such as guide slug, form location, result category, error category, and CTA destination. They do not include email addresses, subscriber IDs, raw IP addresses, or document contents.
